TALISHA was a client who was looking for her father.  She was born in Mississippi (USA) and had her adoption papers from three decades ago. Those papers included her mother’s name and hometown but did not include details about her father. Analyzing her DNA matches and creating good ancestral trees, I found Talisha’s father within a few weeks.  Her father has passed away but she has met her half-sister and they are developing a close relationship.

GEORGE was a client in his 80s and from England.  George knew his mother but never knew the identity of his father.  George and his half-brother took DNA tests with Ancestry and I was able to identify their fathers – both from England.  Although their fathers had passed away, they were able to connect with their fathers’ other descendants.

MARK was a client who was born in the southeastern USA in the early 1960s and adopted shortly after birth. Mark was interested in finding his biological mother. Within one week, I located his birth mother and he was subsequently able to connect with her.

ASHLING was born and adopted in Ireland. One of her biological parents was also adopted so Ashling and I were looking for two generations of ancestors (her biological mother and her maternal grandparents).  Ashling was actively involved in this search and we communicated every few days. We found her birth parent within a month and her biological grandmother within a few months.

***Important:  Not every case has a happy ending.  For example, in some situations, the client learns that a parent is still living, however, the parent does not wish for contact with the client.  Every case is highly unique and I discuss the various and possible outcomes with the client.
